In the last 20 years, the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH) has been a vital asset to the NIH by raising more than $800 million in support of more than 500 projects and programs. By creating a neutral environment, government can collaborate with private industry, academia, non-governmental organizations, and individuals—in ways not otherwise possible—to accomplish what no one entity can do alone.
There are many ways for individuals to get involved with the FNIH. Together, we can continue advancing scientific discovery and medical breakthroughs that will help diagnose, treat and cure the world’s most devastating diseases.
