Alzheimer’s Disease: Paved the way for less invasive blood tests to support early detection and FDA-approved therapies
Cancer: Accelerated promising new treatments for breast cancer and supported research in precision medicine for lung cancer, leading to an FDA Breakthrough Designation
Diabetes: Established a massive, publicly available portal containing genetic data sets to expedite drug development for type 2 diabetes
Maternal health: Supported a study demonstrating that a generic preventative treatment reduces sepsis,
a leading cause of maternal mortality, by 35%
COVID-19: Managed emergency clinical trials testing 37 therapeutic agents and enrolling 26,000+ patients as part of Operation Warp Speed, demonstrating the effectiveness of six therapies
