Robert Balthaser, MSEd, CFRE

Robert has over 25 years of experience in the institutional advancement and development field serving in senior positions at four colleges and universities including Alvernia where he began his career as Director of the Annual Fund and Alumni Affairs. He has planned and led the University of Maryland’s $350 million Campaign for Scholarships. He also was the Assistant Vice President for Philanthropy at Pace University where he developed and managed a comprehensive $100 million campaign to support the schools of law, business, education, nursing and computer science.
Mr. Balthaser held senior fundraising and management positions at the New York University Child Study Center, the American Foundation for Aids Research, Manhattan College and Independent Sector. He is a certified fundraising executive and a current member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. He received his undergraduate degree B.A. from Alvernia University and an M.S. Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania.
