Adam J. Berry Memorial Fund

Overview

Since 2003, the Adam J. Berry Memorial Fund has supported travel  for early-career Australian scientists to work at the NIH, in partnership with the Australian Academy of Sciences.

Michael and Sue Berry established the fund in memory of their son Adam, who was working as a research scientist at the National Cancer Institute at the time of his death at age 25.

Born and raised in Australia, Adam found at the NIH fulfilling and challenging work, in a collegiate and friendly atmosphere. Through the establishment of this fund, his family seeks to enable other young Australian scientists to have a similar experience at the NIH.
