Celebrating 20 Years of Biomarker Innovation
Save the Date: February 9-10, 2026 – North Bethesda, Maryland
(Registration opening soon)
The Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH) Biomarkers Consortium proudly marks 20 years of advancing biomarker science to enable earlier interventions, personalized treatments, and better outcomes in disease prevention, detection, diagnosis, and therapy.
Since its founding, the Biomarkers Consortium has brought together leaders from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), academia, and more than 70 life sciences companies and nonprofit organizations. This unique public-private partnership has driven innovation and transformed how biomarkers are developed, validated, and used in clinical and regulatory decision-making across cancer, inflammation and immunity, metabolic disorders, and neuroscience.
To commemorate this milestone, we are hosting a scientific symposium celebrating the Biomarkers Consortium’s impact over the past two decades. The event will showcase breakthrough collaborations, highlight real-world applications, and foster future planning and cross-sector partnerships within the biomarker community.
We thank you for your continued support and invite you to join and sponsor this landmark event.
