Clayton-Dedonder Mentorship Fellows Program

Overview

The goal of the program is to strengthen mentorship activities and resources within the Fogarty HIV/AIDS training programs at existing Research training sites in low and middle income countries (LMICs). Clayton-Dedonder Fellowships will enhance the teaching and leadership skills of entry- to mid-level faculty at universities and Research institutions in LMICs. The selected fellows will benefit from the mentorship of well-established global health experts and will, in turn, mentor junior trainees at their institutions. The fellows will be able to continue to work in their respective areas of expertise including infectious diseases, epidemiology, reproductive health and other disciplines important to HIV-AIDS Research.

Fellowships have been awarded to support mentorship of individuals at existing training sites in Egypt, Haiti, Kenya, Malawi, Peru, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe funded by the NIH Fogarty International Center (FIC).
