For Sixth Consecutive Year, The Foundation for the National Institutes of Health Achieves 4-star Rating By Charity Navigator

BETHESDA, MD, April 25, 2012 — The Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH) is awarded the coveted 4-star rating “for sound fiscal management and commitment to accountability and transparency” by Charity Navigator, the leading charity evaluator in America.

The FNIH has received this rating for the sixth consecutive year.

“Receiving four out of a possible four stars indicates that your organization adheres to good governance and other best practices … and consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way,” says President and CEO of Charity Navigator, Ken Berger. “Only 3% of the charities we rate have received at least 6 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that [the FNIH] outperforms most other charities in America.”
