On October 16-17, 2017, the National Advisory Council on Alzheimer’s Research, Care and Services will hold a two-day Summit on the NIH campus entitled: National Research Summit on Dementia Care: Building Evidence for Services and Supports. The purpose of the Summit is to address the growing need for evidence that improves the quality of care and support provided to persons with dementia and their caregivers.

The Dr. Norman P. Salzman Memorial Fund was established in 1999 to present the annual Norman P. Salzman Memorial Symposium and Award in Virology to an outstanding Postdoctoral Fellow, Research Fellow or Clinical Fellow working in the field of virology within the intramural NIH, Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research or Leidos community.
